Bed rest and then 150% speed ahead!

After a few days of rest (after taking a birthmark away from my scalp) I went 150% speed ahead today. I had 11 shirts to cut text for and press on. You might think that it’s not that much but… Oh my, the weeding of the htv. If it is small, it’s suck small pieces that they get stuck everywhere. I found one piece in my cola Hihi. But now the shirts are done and they became AWESOME! On the picture with my fingers, the tiny tweeny small pieces I had to get off the vinyl.

An old gaming friend

An old gaming (World of Warcraft) friend contacted me this weekend, asking if I could make something for him. And well, anyone who knows me, knows that I will not say no unless I think I can’t make it. So said and done. Today when C was at the neighbor, playing with his bestie, I had time to create. 1.5 hour from cutting the fabric til the text was on there. Not too bad 😀 The pattern is a Jelly shirt fro the creator Puperita. First one I make but not the last. Easy pattern and came out great!

When the child is away…

…the mother gets things done, even on a Saturday!! 😀 So my partner and my son is away on adventures today. The sewing room is WAY too hot now (it has the morning sun) so I decided to work with Silhouette studio a bit. I still need name tags and size tags. Decided to make it all in vinyl after all. So, this is what I have been doing, also some texts to put on rompers and bags (not only the name, I have also done for all sizes). I am going up to the room now to try and air some of the heat out. Wish me luck!

Drawing, cutting, drawing, cutting

Yep, that is what I have been doing the last week. Except for pressing on some shirts for a friend who went to a Backstreet boys concert and starting another friends wish, I have been drawing patterns. The hing is, there is like 8 or 9 sizes in a pattern, and 4-8 pattern pieces so… It is a lot of drawing and cutting. So I am doing it all now so I don’t have to do it later, then I can focus on sewing instead wohooo!

I have found a really awesome pattern creator, Puperita, found her on Etsy. I will have 8 or so, clothes from her patterns in my shop. Also, my favorites, Patterns for Pirates and it’s sister Made for Mermaids and Mamma can do it. Go check them out!
